Resilience is my first community quilt. This quilt was raffled off to support Alex, a Detroit native who is a survivor of domestic violence, in order for her to obtain a new home away from her abusive home. Over $2,000 USD went to Alex and the United Community Housing Coalition of Detroit- with overflow funds going to the latter .

Resilience was made with 100% reused textiles, filled with 100% cotton, and was hand + machine quilted/tied.
